Voices Prompt #14 - What do you dream about? - (Closed)
I don't dream often and when I do they are often filled with nightmares.

The most common one is where I relive my days of as a Horseman, except instead of doing the slaughtering. I am chased down by my victims, killed by them over and over again until I finally am able to wake up. These dreams are often mixed in with the times I was in their place. I was a Horseman for a millennium, but I was also a slave as well.

They've taken a couple of nasty twists that regulate from the usual being hunted. The worst of those twists is when instead of my victims hunting me down it is the ones I would call friend. Those are the worst, seeing Mac or Joe come hunt me down with the same disregard for life I once had.

Every once in a while I am still the Horseman in the nightmare. Of course, instead of faceless victims I kill my friends and those I care about. I've killed them all in my dreams, even Alexa and each time I've realized what I've done I've woken up and been unable to fall back asleep.
